nginx-1.11.9

The first step is to install dependency packets.

[[email protected] ~]# yum -y install pcre pcre-devel gcc openssl openssl-devel

The second step is to create nginx users.

[[email protected] ~]# useradd nginx -s /sbin/nologin -M

The third part is compiled into the downloaded nginx directory.

[[email protected] ~]# ./configure –user=nginx –group=nginx –prefix=/app/nginx-1.11.9/ –with-http_stub_status_module –with-http_ssl_module

The fourth step is to install nginx.

[[email protected] nginx-1.11.9]# make && make install

The fifth step is to create soft connections.

[[email protected] nginx-1.11.9]# ln -s /app/nginx-1.11.9 /app/nginx

Installation is completed here.

Step 6: Check the configuration syntax for any errors (no configuration changes, no syntax errors for the first boot)

[[email protected] nginx-1.11.9]# /app/nginx/sbin/nginx -t

The seventh step is to start.

[[email protected] nginx-1.11.9]# /app/nginx/sbin/nginx

Visit the server IP to see the following illustration shows the installation is successful (remember to open the 80 port or close the firewall).
